- June 28, 2004: NASA issues a Press Release highlighting the SINGS results on NGC 7331.
- August 25, 2003: The Spitzer Space Telescope successfully launched from
Cape Canaveral on Monday, August 25 at 1:35:39 a.m. EDT.
- April 20, 2003: The launch of the Spitzer Space Telescope has been postponed.
A new launch date has not yet been determined but will be sometime in August 2003. Visit the

- April 16, 2003: The Spitzer Space Telescope
launch
has been rescheduled for April 27, 2003.
- March 21, 2003: The
latest launch
date is April 18, 2003.
- March 20, 2003: Martin Meyer, currently a graduate student at the University
of Melbourne, will be joining STScI on October 1, 2003 to start his tenure as SINGS postdoc.
- November 27, 2002: The Spitzer Space Telescope has been rescheduled for launch on April 15, 2003. NASA's Kennedy Space Center Integrated Launch Schedule has the latest update.
